Mad Max: Fury Road Hieroglyph Style

Design & Designers, Geek out!, Movies & TV

Artist Takumi recreated scenes from Mad Max: Fury Road in hieroglyph style with impressive results. The movie is cartoonish enough to fit the ancient visual storytelling style like a glove. See for yourself:

Such a clever mashup, and really well made, too! Brings to mind the Baywheux Tapestry (mashup of the Bayeux Tapestry and Doctor Who by Bill Mudron).

Found via Kotaku (where they also share some black & white sketches).

Note: I wasn’t paid or perked to mention this; just passing along a good thing.
